The final surface of the swimming pool serves multiple purposes, both functional and aesthetic, while it also determines the quality of the project upon its completion. On an aesthetic level, the final surface of the swimming pool is a contact point – what one sees and touches. Functionally, it protects the pool from possible causes of damage, like chemicals’ action, temperature fluctuations, sunlight, mechanical damage, etc. The recommended materials for the pool’s final surface are reinforced liner, ceramic or mosaic tiles, and epoxy paint.
REINFORCED LINER
The use of glass-reinforced membrane as a final surface of a swimming pool started about 40 years ago. Since then, this material has risen and evolved to the point where today more than half European pools use the reinforced liner as a final surface.
Maintenance is not practically required and installation and repair operations are easy, unlike the constructions that are coated elsewise. The flexibility of this technology allows the coating for free-form swimming pools, even if they are particularly complicated, independently of the construction method of the static carrier (i.e., reinforced concrete, panels).
The liner’s material is PVC, a durable and non-toxic material, with a non-porous surface, which means easiness in cleaning, while it also has a long lifespan, it is resistant to chemicals and does not pluck in the water.
In summary, liner ensures perfect sealing, high aesthetic quality, and a perfect finishing touch for every pool.
Among the various available colors, as well as smooth or 3D types of reinforced liner provided by TRINITY PISCINES, you will certainly find the one that matches your taste.
TRINITY PISCINES is able to offer guaranteed liner products from the leading companies of FLAG Italy and ELBE Germany, which is the only one with certified appropriateness of children’s toys and drinking water.

MOSAIC TILES
Pool mosaic tiles have taken over the market due to their wide variety of shapes and colors, allowing for inexhaustible combinations. It comes in small dimensions and thus, has an easiness to fit aesthetically with the tones and contrasts of colors, creating very beautiful designs. It is more a group of products than a product itself, which means that mosaic tiles have their own peculiarities.
Its advantages are that it can be perfectly applied on both flat and convex or hollow surfaces, it eliminates possible imperfections because its small size does not allow the joint to develop normally, and it can be combined in many colors and deliver an optimal aesthetic result.
TRINITY PISCINES offers mosaic tiles of the best and well known company of Squammers Spain.
CERAMIC TILES
Using ceramic tiles is a classic lining method that can give a special look to every pool, depending on the choice of the tiles. The tiles can be produced in various dimensions and when they are placed, the so-called welding joints are created, which also provide a color choice flexibility to the customer.
Basic advantages of this type of coating are low water absorption (below 0.5%) and low temperature resistance. Also, ceramic are resistant to pool chemicals (i.e., acids), corrosion and mechanical stresses.
TRINITY PISCINES offers ceramic tiles of the leading company Rossa Gres Spain in many color and dimensional combinations.
LINING WITH EPOXY COATING (PAINT)
TRINITY PISCINES, in cooperation with MEGAPOXY Greece, allows you to paint your pool with a special sealant paint. Epoxy coating is the most affordable solution for lining a pool.
For the effective appliance, a two-component non-toxic epoxy system is used for painting and protection.
It is applied in three layers of 0.25mm thick each, giving a 0.75mm dry film, which is resistant to abrasion, to impact, to a wide range of chemicals and to sea water.
It has a high resistance to ultraviolet radiation and therefore a long lifespan.
